OAD uses cookies mainly for the following purposes:
- user authentication – cookies that ensure user recognition and improve safety while using the website;
- continuation of a website’s session;
- website security and integrity of services – cookies that allow to improve the information available on the Office’s website and improve the safety of the website;
- statistics and analysis of the use – cookies that provide information on how and how often the OAD website is used, what are the user groups and what search tools are they using. Cookie statistics can also be gathered from co-operation partner’s websites;
- providing service offers and analysis of user’s needs – cookies that provide the most relevant content for user’s needs. On the Office’s website, cookie information from third parties can be used. The most relevant content for the user can also be shown on cooperation partner’s websites.

1. Technical or strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are used to ensure the functioning of the website, including examination of whether a user has or has not given permission for cookie use. Without these cookies the website cannot function fully, therefore their use is necessary.

These cookies are used to store the user's preferences while the user is using the OAD’s website, thus making the visit personalized. For example, functional cookies are used to remember the language setting or login data chosen by the user.

3. Analytical (tracking) cookies

These cookies collect information about how the user uses the website, detect the most frequently visited sections, including the content the user chooses when browsing the website. This website uses the company’s Google Inc program Google Analytics which uses cookies that are kept on a user’s device and allows to analyze how the user is using the respective website. This information established by these cookies is sent to the Google server in the USA and saved there. The user’s IP address, applying IP-anonymization, is shortened in the territory of European Union or European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases can be granted for processing to Google servers in the USA. 4. Targeting and advertising cookies

These cookies are used to display advertisements that correspond to the user's website usage habits.
